Bryan, Brylee and I went to went to Nebraska for Bryan's, Grandma Sandy's Family Reunion, The Hills (catch all that?). Uncle Jeff, Lori & Bob (Bryan's mom & dad) and Grandma Sandy went too.
Our last vacation together was going to Las Vegas for my 21st and it's our first trip as whole family since Brylees's birth (so we needed a vacation!). We were a little worried at first since we were driving there, which is a total of 900 miles each way (I know we're crazy)! We didn't know if Brylee would be able to take being in her car seat that long. But she did very well, the last day driving home was a little tough but we were all cranky by then.
Our first stop on the journey was Sidney, Nebraska. Where is that you ask? Middle of nowhere! But Cabela's got its start there so there ya' all go! Brylee experienced a first that night, swimming for the very first time. She loved every minute of it, we bought here a cute lady bug floatie that she sits in. I of course had to make sure she looked adorable and bought her a matching ladybug swimsuit. Here are some photos of that night.
The next stop on our trip was Lincoln, Nebraska where we had to pick up Bob (Bryan's dad) from the Airport. We had lunch there with Bryan's third cousin Stephanie and her cute baby boy that is a month younger then Brylee. After that we drove into the town of Syracuse, Nebraska where we were staying the rest of the weekend.
Friday night, we went to Susan and Ron's house for dinner and to get the family reunion started. On the way there Bryan's mom got pulled over, but she talked her way out of a ticket! So everyone harassed her about it! (Sorry Lori) It was nice to get together and meet everyone and just relax. After we got back we took a swim and Brylee still LOVED to swim!
Then on Saturday, Bryan, Uncle Jeff and some of the other cousins went golfing in the morning. Brylee and I slept in and then got up and went shopping with some of the girls. We ate at a cute little restaurant in downtown, then looked at the little stores on the downtown strip and then went to the outlets. I wasn't too impressed! I thought it would be as big as the ones in Park City and there was only 5 stores (so I was a little bummed out).
When Bryan and Uncle Jeff got back from golfing they went with the "Bobs" to the horse races. Don't ask me who's idea it was to let those four out together. Bryan will have to tell you all about it! But Bryan did tell me that he had a BLAST and that he has never laughed so much before. After our day out, we all met up at Cathy;s house and had dinner and played horse shoes. We also played a game called " Hill-billy horse shoes" or at least that was what Bryan called it. I have no idea of how to even explain the game or really how it's played, so just look at the pictures. We also had Karaoke that night, it was pretty funny to watch and hear everyone sing or rather try to.
On Sunday, we wrapped up the reunion with a luncheon, an auction, and family pictures. We used the auction to raise money for the next family reunion, which will be here in Utah!!! I'm so excited to see ya' all out here. Anyways, after the reunion was over we hit the road... again! We dropped Bob off at the airport and the continued on our way to Sidney, Nebraska, where we stayed at the same hotel that we stayed at on Thursday. We where so excited to get to the hotel and get out of the car! As soon as we got there we got in the hot tub and relax.
Then on Monday we finished our long trip home, by then we were all pretty tired of being in the car. We had a great trip thought. It was nice to meet all the family! I can't wait to see ya' all again, here in Utah in 2011!!!

I love her swim attire! It all matches so well! I love her little chubby belly hanging out of her bikini! She is a doll!
