Brylee's 6th month Photo shoot

I thought that I was time to update Brylee's Professional Pictures, so we went back to Sandrine Hudgens (creoleartphotography.blogspot.com). She has been the only one that has taken pictures of Brylee, 1st when she was an infant and 1 month, and 2nd when she was 3 months old with the rest of the Gaitin clan. So I thought that we need to go back to her because she does such a wonderful job and I wasn't wrong about it!!!
Here are Brylee's pictures...

I Love them!!!
What do you think???

Brylee's New tub!

Brylee has been wanting to sit-up all the time now!
The infant tub that I've been bathing her in has become a little hard to bath her in, and she doesn't seem to enjoy bath time as much as she us to.

So before I left Weber County on of my friends told be about these blow-up rubber Dukie tubs. She said that her little boy loves his and it made it a lot easier to bath him. So I thought that I would try it out for Brylee and I found one at Walmart.

Here are a few pictures and a video...

the Tub!

Brylee seems to like it, lets try it out!

Here's the video!

I think that she LOVES Bath time again!!!

Funny little Brylee Anne

I love this new stage that Brylee is getting into, she has been a blast!!!
She is a funny baby I have to say!

Brylee has always been a baby that has to crash and burn before taking a nap, but when she does you can't help but laugh. This is yet another picture of her sleeping...

Another funny little thing that Brylee has been doing is pulling her headband and bow off of her head. Then she wears it like a bow tie. How ever for some reason today she thought it would be fun to wear it around her mouth...

I also have been trying to control that wild hair of hers. My mom suggested that I put curlers in her hair so I tried them out and I think that she looks a Who from Whoville (Dr. Seuss').

What do you think???

Good Morning, Brylee

If I haven't let you all know I think that I have a great baby!!! LOL. Anyways, I've been told that I'm so lucky to have a baby that sleep's through the night. Brylee has pretty much always been great for sleeping at night since she was a infant. (I know I'm Lucky and VERY blessed). I just thought that I would share these pictures of how happy she is every morning!!!
Brylee will usually wake up and play, talk, and suck her thumb until I get in to get her. (Most of the time we wake up to her gibber-gabber).

My happy Morning Baby!!!

( I just love this picture)

Brylee is 4 months

Brylee is now 4 months old!!! Where did the time go???
On Tuesday Bryan and I took Brylee into the doctor for a check up. The doctor said that she looks great and also told us that we could now start her on rice cereal!!! Brylee also had to have 4 shots and wasn't to happy about it but she was still really good about it. They also did all of her measurements and here are her stats:
Wight: 15 lbs. 12 oz. /96%
Length: 24 1/2 in. / 68%
Head: 41.1 cm / 65%
She's getting soo BIG!!!
I just want her to stay little for a bit longer...
I feel like she has grown in a blink of an eye!

Here are some pics of us giving her rice cereal...
Bryan and I end up giving her the rest in a bottle,
we are going to have to work with her to take it in a spoon.

Brylee and the end of the Day!!!

It was a long day for her!
Getting poked and prodded with by the doctor,
4 shots, eating with a spoon...

What a hard life!

Let us know if you have any helpful ideas on getting her to eat with a spoon better!

Brylee's Dedication

Sunday was Brylee's dedication, it turned out to be a great day, besides all the snow that came! I know that Bryan and I made the right decision to have Brylee dedicated.
If you don't know what a dedication is. Its a brief ceremony in which the parents make a commitment before the Lord to submit a child to God’s will and to raise that child according to God’s Word and God’s ways. The parents responsibilities in a Dedication are to making a promise to the Lord to do everything within their power to raise the child in a godly way, and prayerfully until the child can make a decision on her own to follow God. The parents who make this vow of commitment are instructed to raise the child in the ways of God, such as His values, and His principles. Some of the responsibilities include teaching the child in God’s Word, demonstrating an example of godliness, disciplining according to God’s ways, and praying earnestly for the child.

I hope this makes it a little bit easier for those of you that weren't entirely clear.

Along with Brylee's dedication Bryan and I had to chose a Life Verse that Brylee can use to guide her through her life.
Bryan and I chose 1 Corinthians 13: 4-7
"Love is patient & kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures though every circumstance."

Bryan and I really wanted to let everyone that came know that we really appreciate you coming on Brylee and our special day! It was really nice to have all of our family there with us! Thank you for all your support!!! It really meant a lot to us!

Here are some pictures of the day!

Brylee's 2 month Check up!

Brylee went to the Doctor on Monday for her 2 month Check up, it was soo sad she had to get 4 shots! She got one oral, 2 in one thigh and 1 in her other thigh. She did a lot better then I thought she would, I gave her Tylenol before we went and it seemed to work. But, it was still hard to see her on the table crying and I couldn't do a thing about it.

The doctor said that she looks great and he also congratulated me on keeping her well feed! LOL

Brylee now weighs a BIG whopping
13 lbs. 11oz!!!
I was in shock when I saw the scale! I told the nurse that I thought that she weighed no more then 13 lbs. The nurse told me to try again, "ummm... how about 14 lbs."

Anyways here are Brylee's totals:

At 2 months:
Head: 39.2 cm 49%
Length: 23.5 in 78%
Weight: 13 lb 11 oz 91%
At 1 month:
Weight: 11 lb 12oz 94%

At 2 weeks old:
Head: 35.9 cm 47%
Length: 22 in 93%
Weight: 9lb 2 oz 72%

At 1 week old:
Head: 35.7 cm 53%
Length: 20.5 in 74%
Weight: 8lb 10 oz 72%

At Birth:
Length: 20.5 in 74%
Weight: 8lb 12 oz 85%

St. Patricks Day

I can't believe how quick March has come and gone!!!
Last week was St. Patricks Day and so I decided that Brylee needed to wear a cute GREEN outfit, to keep up with Holiday tradition.
Also, I knew that Me-ma would be upset if I didn't get a cute picture with Brylee and the bib that she got her!

Here are a few pictures of her!

Brylee was having a rough day!

We still don't really know what her problem was!
(I guess it's just a Girl Thing)

Brylee at 2 months

Brylee seems to keep getting bigger in a Blink of a eye!

I know I say that in every blog, but I really can't believe that my little girl is getting so big. I cannot believe that she is now 2 months old!

Brylee is now smiling and cooing a lot more and her little personality is definitely starting to show! Her little smile just makes my heart melt, and I can help but smile back at her. She truly is the best thing that I have ever did!

Her is a little video of her playing with her rattle.

(Look at all those rolls!!!)
lol

And

I couldn't help but put this little video of her and her daddy on here too!

Brylee and her daddy definitely have a bond! They are soo cute together!

Sorry that we haven't posted in a while!

Things have just gotten soo crazy since I went back to work, I'll try to be better!

Brylee's Photo Shoot

At 4 weeks Brylee had her first photo shoot. (Well "professional shoot" that is.) Sandrine did an incredible job. We couldn't be happier. Here are some of our favorites from the group.

Enjoy!
